The valve cover was pretty grimey. It will need extra attention next time around.(headbang)

I replaced the air intake hose prior to detailing. It got brittle and cracked which caused the engine to run lean and threw a CEL. It was a good time to detail the engine.

Some pics of the tools.

so when you used the pressure washer, did you cover up any of the elec connections or anything?? or is that all good to spray on??

Nothing was covered but I did not linger on parts that would get damaged like electrical connections, battery, alternator, etc.

It is advisable to cover certain parts but I didn't. I've read recommendations of using aluminum foil, plastic bags, saran wrap, and/or shop rags.

This is one of my cars, so I let things slide. If it's your first time and you're working with a client, I recommend using protection...(wink)

Wheel Well Detail and Rotor/Pad Change
It was time to change the front pads and rotors - I said the heck with it and also detailed the wheels, wells, suspension, and brakes.

Tools and Products
Same as engine detail list above and some other brushes.
Process
Similar to engine detail listed above.

this helps a lot bro.,.,my question is does this product available in local stores? i mean the meg products.,,

you might be able to source Megs D103 locally, but it wont be sold in retail stores. It would probably be at wholesale detail supply shops.

what do you dilute your hyper dressing to? i use 2:1

It's on the first post...3:1 for HD.

haha.,i went to the meg website added to chart both stuff very happy cuz both of them where 1.99 each and before i checkout i realized it was just bottles..,.,lol.,.,.,well today i degreased my 03 pro with black magic foam degreaser and armour protectant very happy much than Gunk gel i used on my 00 pro.

D103 is very versatile. Its good for wheels, tires, engine bays, its low foaming and can be diluted for interiors and carpet and mat cleaning.

Im almost out of the stuff, and will be getting more shortly. It also smells pretty good as well. not as harsh to the nose as other APCs ive used.

103 is a little harsh for my liking. Very high on the pH. Very good idea to dilute.
