I have a 1999 B2500 that stumbles, shakes, and dies when accelerated hard. The truck shakes really bad after you accelerate it and returns to lower RPM. When you try to drive it you can really tell that it is low on power. I have changed the fuel filter, all 8 spark plugs, wires, air filter, oil, egr valve, pretty much every gasket, two exhaust valves because the truck had a stuck valve and no compression on cylinder 2 (which was fixed after the new valve was put in it). Also it did give off cylinder 2 misfire, and system 2 bank too lean, which have both been fixed misfire by replacing valve, and system 2 by replacing vacuum hose. It pretty much runs the same as it did when it had no compression on cylinder 2, even though it does have compression now. The truck only has 116K miles on it. Anyone have any idea what could be the problem?

While you've replaced your EGR valve, have you ensured that the passages on the intake manifold are all clear? You might have an EGR clog somewhere. Then again, such an issue may have set a code - but, doesn't appear to be the case.

I checked the intake manifold when the truck had all the gaskets and such changed and it was clear. Also, sometimes it smells like some gas is being unburned and the smell is around the engine.
