car quiet running the dis,cap and rotor button was burnt up fix that now car will not start up the fire it red in color i have checked the fuel its good the timming belt is new put on bout 3 mos ago the car was not firing the rotor and dis cap button was in bad shape ,it trys to start but want i have changed the spark plugs too the fuel is ok filter is clean ???? thanks

Let me see...
His 1995 millenia quit running, he replaced the distributor cap and rotor button since they were deemed burnt, he replaced them and now the car will still not run? as for the color red having to do anything with this I have no idea?

Since the car quit running to begin with, I dont see replacing just the dist cap and rotor would ensure it would run after installing them? Does the car turn over, is the tming belt bad? Take the rotor off and have a buddy turn the car over to see if the rotor is turning? If not, belt is gone. If it does, then check spark at plugs, if thats good, then it is fuel related.

Question is... did he plug everything back in, and in correct order? Having a 2001 mpv with the 2.5 V6, it does not have a rotor or button so I am really no help on wire order on the cap.
