1994 Protege DX Stabilizer Bar

First things first, I'm Green with auto repair.

I have removed both sway bar links
however the hole at the end of the passenger side sway bar that mounts to the link bushing has broken.
I'm trying to remove the entire sway bar but have no room to just pull it out. It is totally free from mount, but it does not appear that you can just give it a yank and remove the bugger.

I'm wondering what else do I have to drop (remove) to get it out. It seems to be stuck on the steering mech, do I really have to drop the front of the bracket that is connected to a motor mount and drop the control arms with the caliper and tie rods?

OR

just be patient and it will wiggle out. I've even tried to raise the rotor area to lift the suspension and that did not work either.

Any advise, url links or resolution answers would be greatly appreciated.
