Just got the 626 back on the road. After going through several electrical gremlins and slaying most I'm still being beaten by two.
I can not get any response out of the tachometer. Checked the connection on the coil and that's in tact. Any other places or things to look for? All other guages and cluster lights work fine.
Other gremlin is the BATTERY light. It will not go out. Alternator is puting out correct voltage, not problems from that end of the system. Battery is always charged, so battery is fine.
Again any ideas on what to look for here?
Keep in mind this is a 1981 Mazda 626, totally different than the 2nd or later generation models so no info from those eras apply.
Thanks,
Check out the pic in the pics thread.
