haha yes I know its another thread...but theres so many choices, so little time :)

18x8 ET37 235/40/18

what do you guys think?

I am going to aggressively roll the rear fenders and riding on stock suspension...08 ms3

running 225/55/16 16x8 +38 with no fender rolling and no rubbing, so I think its possible and its nice and flush

hmm 225/55/16 16x8 +38 and no rubbing ehh?

any pics so i can get an idea?

my setup is +37 and 235 wide tires...so its about 6mm sticking out more than yours...

thank you, and the steering is more responsive. good luck and i cant wait for some pics when you pull the trigger on these.

looks really nice..thanks for the pics....

does the low offset affect the steering?

While it may make the steering more "responsive," it will also increase your steering effort, torque steer and "kickback" on bumps (especially mid-corner bumps) due to the increase in scrub radius. Just something to keep in mind. :)

it works great at stock height (08.5 ms3) with rolled rear fenders...i just test fitted them and took her out for a spin...no rubbing!

its flush as hell and ever so slightly sticking out in the front

has anyone had any experience running a 235/40/18 on an 18X8 +48 offset wheel? also lowered on H&R's, no fender rolling. i figure it should be ok, the stock tires are 8.5" overall width and the 235/40 tires are about 9.4" overall width. i think i have at least 1/2" of wiggle room on both sides. just wondering if anyone else has tried this size combination.

Been wondering this myself. I'd like to run 18x8 with 235/40 on stock suspension with 48mm offset.

Been thinking about the OZ Alleggerita HLT.
If they don't fit, I might go 7.5 wide and run the 225/40 instead.

I have 235/40R18 Kumho XS tires on RX-8 wheels (et50) and am on the the stock suspension with no rubbing. 2 mm might make a difference, especially if lowered, but a little rear fender roll would be all that you'd need to rectify it...
