Can anyone give me some advice or information about 17" rims and tires vs. 18"? I want some rims that look good and that are realitivly inexpensive. They dont have to be super high performance (light weight) but id like some performance out of them.

here are some that im looking at...
1.)ASA JH-8 (17x7.5-5x114-50-BK W/MAchine Lip)
Yohohama AVS ES 100 (205/50WR17)
-or-
B.F. Goodrich g-Force Sport (205/50WR17)
Found at www.tirerack.com

2.)5zigen FN-01R (17x7-5X114.3-48-BK)
Toyo Proxes FZ-4 (215-45-17-W-300)
Found at www.wheelmax.com (website was down sorry no link)

3.)Exel GT-S (18x7.5-5x114.3-45-BK)
Toyo Proxes FZ-4 (225-40-18-W-300)
Found at www.wheelmax.com (website was down sorry no link)

give us some pictures already...since we are doing you a favor by helping you, you should help us.

17 rims will probably be the closest ones that match your stock's performance. 18s will make your car look a bit higher and decrease the performance of the car at least in the acceleration (not much though) since its a bigger wheel.

225 tires are definately the way to go, the car would look sick and no fender rubbing. if you pick 17s, I would suggest a 45R. If 18s, then 40R.
