no flash!!!! spiked 16, fell to about 12-13, thx

I love it when someone who knows how to tune and drive posts their times :).. Congrats!!! Just proves that if more people listened from day one, more MSP's would be repeating those times than there are. Let me know how the flashed cars run now :).
Joe
PS- Were you running pump gas or higher octane? that is pushing it on pump, but not 100% disasterous.. I would say at least 100 octane would make it safe.

100 octane joe, i learn from the best

:D .. Now, try the 116 and 16 psi :). Oh wait- you need a new turbo, FMIC and standalone to do that, nevermind- go back to running 15's, my bad... The stock stuff can never go 13's  (screwy) (braindead

You can do it on the stock one. The FMIC will help, but is not a necessary mod for 13's. My comment about that stuff wasn't directed at you, just got tired of all the mis-information here a while back and just joke about it now pretty much every opportunity I get :).

lol, that's what i thought but i wasnt sure --the faces should have been a dead give away but im tired, no sleep yet

hey man good numbers. you will notice a big gain in power with a fmic. you will see the 13's then. have you modify the stock fuel cut off? listen to joe p and don't get the flash.

thanks justin

Lol, no problem :)..

As for the FCD working "most of the time", let me know what it is doing... If no one ever mentions anything to me, I do not know if there are problems or not and make no changes :).. It could just need to be "loosened" up a bit (back the screw out).

its backed all the way out. it wasnt hitting the cut at the track but on the way home anything over 10 psi was hitting the cut

Anyone else experiencing this? Without telling me, I have no clue there are issues.....

What was the temp? When I was running the FCD in my car, I ONLY hit the cut once when it was in the 50's and that was at 20-21 psi... Do you possibly have a boost leak?

If you want, send the FCD back to me and I can check it out. Thanks.
Joe

hey i can boost 12 to 13 psi and i don't hit the stock fuel cut off.
joe p whats up with my car? i have your fpr kit and mbc. thanks for the info.

thanks justin

Hey Joe, will you ever be running the 1/4 mile at 18psi? I'm curious to see what your numbers would be like.
I got the flash which I know you aren't a fan of but I'll live with it :). Though you might not be able to test it (since your test MSP isn't flashed) do you THINK your FCD will help the fuel cut in a flashed MSP? Thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

What is the temp? Do you still have stock exhaust? The cut is based on airflow, not psi- so when you have a good breathing intake and exhaust, it will come on sooner and when it is colder out also since the ar is denser the MAF "sees" more airflow at the same psi..
