13.8 at 101mph with a 2.0 60'

yeah that evo wasnt running too hot. my gf got it all on tape. too bad the time board wasnt running. using my trap speed the horsepower calculator estimated that i have 292 whp and 344 crank. i need to invest in some damn drag radials.

yea i hear ya, your car definately low-mid 13s with traction and a good run...you will lose a few mph once you get good tires though, but better e/ts

yea, i need practice, i won't lie dude, that was my 1st time at track with radials, 2.0 was best 60' i got, but remember, my car was definately not running right and i still ran a 13.8....in the vids you can see a shitload of smoke coming out of my car(i didnt really care because it would have ****** up on my way home anyhow and id rather the car be broke down at moroso then side of a road)

Yes. I sat by and watched in horror..lol..not only did my brothers car go up in smoke but my clutch line burst and my car is also straded at moroso, right next to his lol. Another thing to note, his rear brakes were sticking BAD, almost to the point it took 3 of us to barely push his car, that would be my reason as to why his car overheated, then proceeded to blow the HG. 13.8 with sticking brakes and low compression with a crapped headgasket...jeff your car is getting serious...Now bring it into my shop so I can fix it right. Next time let me drive so I can get ya a 1.9 60....;p

oh yea i forgot to mention the sticking back break, my bad...haha, that definately needs to get fixed also, i was wondering why my light as car was hard to push!

If its just the headgasket which i think it is. Easy fix. Pop in a new copper one, get FUEL and then run it hard again...rinse and repeat.

I don't understand. Every tire on every new car sold in the past 20 years is a radial tire. 195-50R16, the R stands for radial. Are you sure they weren't bias-ply tires, which are common on drag car, because the walls flex more....
