12 year old guitar prodigy

wow, he's great at playing freestyle and for doing guitar solos very quick. but can he actually compose and become a guitar god like "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott?

He's got fast fingers...but that's about it. Its like the same 5-10 licks over and over again in different octaves...no tonality...no rhythm...no music...just notes.

I like when he just smiles and nods at someone

Didnt that guy dimebag just die this past winter ?

Just because of this one video doesnt mean this is all he can do...and plus hes still very young still has plenty of time to get some rhythm

yes, unfortunately. he was shot during a small show he was doing. tragic day in the history of metal and for anyone who has any respect for guitar playing/players

dude, you obviously dont know anything about guitar solo.

That sounds ******* amazing. That kid got a great ******* gift!!! Holly s***!! and this comes from a mouth of a guitar player. Holly s***!!!! Thats just ******* priceless!!! OMFG I have no words to describe kid's talant any further. hehe.A-*******-MAZING!!!

whatever...
nothing special.
his dad probably has a heavy belt.

....and i know about music.
i graduated a music academy in Russia with Red Diploma (highest honors possible).

lots of hours and any kid will get like that.
he does not feel what he plays.

What that kid was doing was hard, there is no question, the video says he is 8 not 12, man I have been playing for like 4 years, and my lanky fingers are still no where as fast as him. That kid has a gift, youll see at the lead for some group in about 10 years.

I am amazed!

I guess not. I'll take a David Gilmore 1 note solo over that kids flurry of guitar licks any day. I'm sure he'll make a great guitar player but his teacher needs to 1) teach him some melodies and 2) explain that speed and abundance of notes does not always make for a great solo. He's got a fast hand, now he's got to learn a thing or two about music.

Hes good and thats the problem you can tell he knows it that solo went on way to long. The people started clapping and yelling and he wanted it to go on forever. that was 2 minutes of my life ill never get back. Jimmy Page is god anyway.

WoW........ you graduated a music academy in Russia...... Where in Russia? Does that qualify you to judge the skill of people? Obviously you dunno wtf you talking about, just trying to brag that you finished something. I finished alot of things in Russia but I dont brag. Even if you DID finish the academy, that still doesnt mean s*** regarding your knowledge of hard rock. WoW......obviously you have different taste in guitar music than me, therefore if you dont like it, dont imply that kid doesnt play good, because he IS good.

He's only 8.... Can u imagine what he can do when he's 16. It doesn't matter whether he's not playing music, i don't care, but just the fingering alone and the speed and clarity when he plays it, AMAZING. I think he has a great future ahead of him
