195's are skinny tires. I have two 15x6.5 rotas with 225/50/15 bfg drag radials for the track. I ran a 13.9 on street tires, the track was rained out last week, so either tommorow night or next thursday i'll get to try out the bfg's. I honestly think your pushing your luck for 12's. I'm putting down 220 hp, and 229 tq. I don't see you running that much faster with 240 whp. But if you say you only weigh 2500 then its possible. I have no weight reduction, so i'm sure that would help me.

yes they can.....actually people fit 19s on spec v's (dont know width) with a mild drop...it looks gay but they can tuck some huge as s*** in its wheel weels. my 15x6's were just just the cheapest and lightest wheel i could find...i woulda love to go 6.5 or 7 but couldnt find anything without spending 300 a wheel on some ray's. (pissed) the tires are 195 tho so it's not that bad.

my car weighs around 2400(serious weight reduction), and im around 230whp(maybe a little more at 10psi), so we will see what happens =), im using the same tires as you gbor...sticky as ****.

moreover, i dont understand how you came up with your estimate numbers for power..You don't even have that much done to merit those kind of "gains". My buddy has an '03 Spec-V with a header back exhaust with no cats, jim wolf cams, and mild headwork done..his car is quick..but your talking low 13's? give me a break..your car wouldn't even take the amount of spray you'd need to get there..Granted Nissan comes with forged internals..but it just wouldn't hold up..your talking over 100hp shot..also keeping in mind that spec-v's put down about 155-160whp on a dyno..I've watched these run before..I've been to nissan meets..and i have NEVER seen a spec-v with nitrous run low 13's or break into the 12's with just bolt ons..I respect your ominous goal, but realistically, i don't buy it man..sorry.

englishtown is in the sticks in new jersey, tucked away nicely. i was there a few weeks ago for the nhra thing.
