12 second challenge at englishtown

so im having a vboard (ser/spec v board) englishtown meet on the 21st...im racing my friends vr4, since we both think are low 13-high 12 second cars...he should beat me, but hes not the greatest driver as you can see in the thread...idk i think you people should come down if you can and see it

I'm almost certain I have 220ish whp right now, and I estimating 14s, MAYBE high 13s. And I'm not a bad driver, I'm new but I'm not bad. I really want to see your car rob.

the 215whp i ran a 13.89 @ 101.3 lol ....i should be making 240whp or so now and 320 torque ... the car weighs 2500 lbs estimate.

ahaha oh god you keep cracking me up more and more...those 17 or 18 inch bling blings arent light weight... i got 15 inch 13 lb OZ Racing wheels up front with drag radials. For a show car or whatever thats the fugliest looking turbo and downpipe ive ever seen in my life.


wait wait... nitrous and bolt ons is gay whatever thats your opinion.... but your turbo is a bolt on and you say i should 'build a motor'? wtf is that s*** i have a race prepped cylinder head (ported and polished, head milled 1 mm over, ferrera racing : valves (1mm larger than OEM), springs, retainers, seats, and jim wolfe racing camshafts, with a extrude honed plenum and ported throttle body), the block is stock (other than balance shafts removed ) because there is no need to do internals while only spraying a 75 shot..do you even have any headwork or internal work? dont try to act like your the know all kill all dude... btw your car looks good....VERY damn good, but dont try to act like its fast. i think all that pointless wire loom is getting to your head.

yes they can.....actually people fit 19s on spec v's (dont know width) with a mild drop...it looks gay but they can tuck some huge as s*** in its wheel weels. my 15x6's were just just the cheapest and lightest wheel i could find...i woulda love to go 6.5 or 7 but couldnt find anything without spending 300 a wheel on some ray's. (pissed) the tires are 195 tho so it's not that bad.

down pipe is gone and thier lighter then the show rims i used to have so to me they are. (why i bought them) personally i have no respect for any jwt parts at all and that my personal prefrence just fron when i was gonna build a nissan. but dont come in screaming of 12s when your spraying im not saying tthat my cars super fast but please dont say im show boating here. what do you run without spraying? im speaking as a general theres many a cars here with ems built motors that could hang with you judging by you first posted track times.

im not coming in here screaming 12's...ive been a member jsut as long as you have... i posted it in CT because the few people that know me on this board are all from CT. so i figured id let them know in case they wanted to come down... i should be damn close to 12 if not get it 13.2 at worst 12.9 at best(lol2)

I don't care about how big the wheels are, I was talking about width in regards to drag racing. Maybe you've never heard of Rotas because this is the combo I would recommend...

I don't either...it's temporary HP. I prefer something that won't run out.

Don't you have a suspended license? 12 second challenege? Buddy, your not getting into the 12's..Sorry. I've got more engine work than you, by far. And i'm attempted to break into the 14's N/A..no spray. Granted Spec-V's have a little more on the motor than I do..But still..They aren't that fast.

what tires are you running, those are pretty good times for that trap speed...im hitting moroso up saturday, my car is proly trapping around 106(i beat a mustang bullitt that traps 108 so im being leanient on that trap speed) or so with drag radials on, so we will see what times i can come up with(hopin for a low 13 at least)
