1 yellow, and 1 black MSP

Okay so I bought the yellow and black MSP with the plans on turbocharging my red MP5 and maybe having a second car. Unfortunately I am completely broke and I now need to sell both these cars asap. The yellow one runs but is really rusted out. The yellow MSP has 157,000 miles on it but runs very strong. I drive it round whenever I get the chance. For whatever reason the CEL light will come on from time to time and then shut off after a couple days, I have no idea why it does this and I never had it checked out. It doesn't have the front lip anymore, I sold that off a while back. The black one doesn't run but has no rust on it. The black one has like 86,000. The kid I bought it from said he had the car scanned for codes and he said it pulled a code that had something to do with the crank shaft sensor. I had the car towed home and looking it over, and noticed it was missing some parts like the overflow coolant reservoir, iner fender wells, the trunk sub and amp setup, door sills, but the yellow one has all that. Both these cars come with a set of racinghart rims, one set is in decent shape and comes with all 4 center caps. The other set are beat up and need to be sandblasted and redone. I took $2700.00 out of my IRA to buy both these cars, and I would like to get $2400.00 for both these cars, both have to be sold together I live in a condo with no garage and no space so these are taking up parking spaces. I see it (I've bought 3 msps so far this year), but there are a few issues that are keeping me from contacting you and I'm guessing pretty much everyone else feels the same so I'll share.

1. The price is a little high. Its not a bad price and they're worth about $1200-1500 each easily, but the issue is dumping over $2000 on parts cars at once. Price the black one at $1500 and the yellow one at $1200 and I bet they sell a lot faster.

2. You're too far away to move two cars. I might be interested in the black one, but I can't even begin to tow two cars multiple hundreds of miles.

3. Offering a part out of some of the big items makes things simpler. Sell the front mount and sidemount for a few hundred dollars each and then drop the price of the cars by that amount. Or sell them a-la-cart. I don't have any interest in whatever aftermarket stuff might be on the cars, but am interested in the rest, etc

If you were local I would be interested in getting both, but if there's no local person interested moving two cars is nearly impossible.

I understand where you are coming from. I had the black car towed to my house and I drove the yellow one. The yellow car runs great, it's just rusted to s***!

+1 on the yellow being the worst rusted-out protege I have ever seen. Would love to bring it down to Tx and swap everything into a clean shell.

I didn't think 2400 for 2 cars was a bad deal.. I'll try selling them separately and see what happens.. Thank you.

Its not a bad deal, you're just going to have a hard time finding one person who is willing to tow two vehicles (there's no way I would drive the yellow more than up a street and back - those shock towers are terrible and will fail if provoked). I think you'll be pleasantly surprised if you split them, and you'll be even happier if you do some light parting of the yellow car. Sell the seat covers, the wing, the intercooler and hard pipes, the optima, and sell the rest of the car for $600-800. You'll get a total of about $1500 out of the yellow car, sell the black car for around $1500 without touching it. You'll come out better monetarily AND actually sell everything.

Actually, while you're at it sell the yellow hood and bumper covers as well. Its a hard color to find and guys who need parts would rather spend a bit on some bumpers than spend a fortune on painting new ones. The hood and bumpers are worth another few hundred dollars easy. Without doing very much you can clear $3000 and I bet they move pretty quickly if split up.

Also sell the good fenders and side skirts off the yellow car.

If I didn't live in a condo it would be easier and if I had a garage it would be awesome.. I am going to have a hard time parting it out, it will get towed if the shell is just sitting there.

Okay so which one does someone want??
