I want to know if there are LOC's out there that allow you to turn up the bass for the sub seperately from the system. This way the stock speakers wont blow if I want to turn the bass up.

Thanks

There are not any. Just turn the gain up on the subwoofer amp. If the amp has a remote bass knob you can use that too.

if you are turning up your sub i would suggest getting something other then stock speakers... otherwise you will be one of "those guys"

Rockford Fosgate 3sixty.2 would allow you to set the EQ on the sub woofer channel separately from the rest of the system. Although, if this is the only feature you are looking for in your LOC, you are better off just setting the bass boost and gain on your sub woofer's amp, rather then buying the 3sixty.

Also the AudioControl LC6 and LC8 have a remote for bass level control. I just had mine installed and it works perfect...I will post pics later of the install.

This makes me ask. ive emailed dave @ navone enginering i was lookin at the NE-7V loc. My question is this will work with a 2 channel amp and a 2 or 4ohm sub right? He said it would work with a typical 4 ohm so who knows i think i will be fine. Do you ?

ok, futureshop sells a cheap LOC and an expensive one.

he said the expensive one you can adjust the gain with it. Is this worth it or shoud i just set the gain up on the amp and go with the cheap one?
