08 ms3's coming aug 1st.

i was at mazda of escondido looking @ the ms3 and asked about the 08's. they only had 2 ms3's left right now and said they were expecting their shipment of 08's within 30 days. he said a revised front bumper was all he was told.

im debating on buying an 07 now or waiting the 30 days. price should stay the same hopefully.

mazda toled me since they revised in 07 all models were basically stayign the same till about 2009/2010

but either way cool. do they have a list yeat or any paperwork?

I'd be surprised if anything other than color choices are different for 08. I also don't expect the current bodystyle 3 to be continued past 08.

well if the 08's are anything like the 07's, Aug 1st should turn into October 15th in no time... I put my money down in July for my car and didnt take delivery until 10/23. It realllllly was not fun waiting so long for it, so if you have the chance to scoop up an 07 now, i say do it!

I heard that the 08s come with the mazdaspeed cat back, intake, and lowered Mazdaspeed springs. The are being rated @ 293hp/310ftlbs. They also play MP3s, have an upgraded trans mount, carbon hood, thicker paint, no brake dust pads, 245/40 tires, and have a pulse emitter that automatically retards the ignition of super charged mustangs, GTOs, STis, SRT4s, and Evos. Rumor has it that Mazda will release a Chuck Norris edition. You don't even want to know about that one.

It's out. The seats are made of tree bark and you drive it with no pants.

They did the same thing with the MSP. The initial run did pretty well, so they tweaked the car ever so slightly so they can sell some more and still call it "limited edition" but sell more of them.

for here in the states there's no color differences, i was on our dealer site "trying" to order 08's and it takes you to color choices, and optional equipment etc. nothing was different. i can't see them changing hardly anything at all for 2008, even so they are more than halfway done with the first batch. there shouldn't be any speed 3's for 09 though, limited to 2 years for mazdaspeed...if they carry it longer it will be the first time. The speed miata was really something though, there was a factory fire limiting the 05's to just over 1,000....so those little guys are pretty rare.

looks the same to me as the 07. the low price i saw paid for a GT w/o nav was 22,019 in the forums, is that pretty accurate? should i be aiming for as the lowest they will let one go for?

i wouldnt take too much credibility from those spy shots. They may be using the regular 3 wing and a fake bumper to conceal any of the changes that they have made
