08.5 With double din

I don't have an 08.5 or an 09, but I DO have an 08, should look the same just without the gloss/piano black finish as with the 08.5 and 09:

what kind of kit did you use?
also what model pioneer do you have? is this one that can be bypassed to play dvd's while in motion?

yes this one can be bypassed to play dvds while in motion and watch ipod videos as well while in motion. the kit is the cheap ebay metra kit for like $20 shipped and comes with a pocket to place where the lcd screen goes, but if you want to keep the screen it comes with a mount for it. kit works just as good as the $100 one there is out there.

The deck is the pioneer dvd-4000 or something of that sort. I never watch movies or dvds, i just wanted direct ipod control and better sound wuality than stock and a deck with RCA's to hook up subs and an amplifier, so i did all that and the deck in the same day

yea im not sure if id like the flat black with the piano. i might have the trip painted to match.

im sure matching a piano black gloss on a textured dash kit might be hard to do, even if done professionally, so matching this piece I have to piano black if you get it might be a tough one. THO the textured piece does match the dashboard and glovebox area is that makes any difference

I think you have to choose one or the other before installing.. if i remember correctly.
