'07 vs '08 - Advice

Hi - newbie - appreciate your advice...

looking at buying a used GT and I believe the engine went from 3.5 to 3.7 from 2007 to 2008 - is it worth it to look only for a 2008 and up model because of this?? Could not find an existing thread on this topic.

and while I am asking - would like to get your take on FWD vs AWD - snows in Louisville about 3 days a year Figured I would look for AWD just because - but have read where it really hurts 0-60 and in the passing lane. Did not check other threads on this topic...

I have not driven a CX-9 with the 3.5 with that said I like my 3.7. I would not bother with the AWD. I lived in Nebraska where there can be a good snow and I was always able to travel where I wanted with only FWD cars the whole time I lived there.

FWD with snow tires would do just fine on snow.
AWD helps you get going, not stopping.
AWD + snow tires is the best combo.
