'07 MS3 v.s '07 SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep loses hands down. Just make sure there are some curves somewhere along the way. It's not all about straight line people...what is this? The 70's? Some of you really need to go to some road courses, and move away from states with straight roads.

Those Jeeps are nasty. My buddy has a Trailblazer SS with a tune, CAI, and catback. He eats my lunch off the line and from a roll he gives me fits til we start getting up in speed. I know the Jeep is quicker than the SS. Something tells me the Jeep would check out on an MS3.

BTW, I love the "we getter better gas mileage" and "the MS3 handles better" comments hahaha.

No ******* s***! We're not talking about that now are we?

My thoughts exactly! Run these two on a road course and a MS3 wins without even getting out of 3rd gear lol!

Edit!

Reviving an old thread.

If anyone is still wondering I just finished racing one.

I got SRI on 18psi.

Well if you were dead even from a roll-on with the ms6, an ms3 with similar mods should definitely fair better against that jeep. From a dead stop though, an ms3 with street tires will have some serious catching up to do.

I was messing around with one of these a couple months back (when I was stock). Once we were already moving (40+ mph), we both gunned it and he would start to pull on me very slowly. Now that I have an ms cai, I think if I were to meet him again it would be dead even (from a roll), maybe with even a slight edge to the ms3.

One other thing...I don't know if he had aftermarket exhaust or what but it was one LOUD motherfucker when he got on it. Sounded pretty nice, too.

i saw one of these things on the highway and i was cruising at about 70.. he was tailgaiting me and i thought he was just trying to be an idiot so i went right after him when he cut me.. and holyyyyy crap! i can't tell u how fast these things are on the highway.. i was going 125mph (cai,ss) and cutting in traffic and i still couldn't catch it... he was probably going 140-150 in traffic..and yea, the exhaust is loud as hell!

another thing is that this car from what I'm reading this is just as fast as a viper! why are we comparing our car to vehicle that's as fast as a viper. I wouldn't dare try to run with a viper. I know the limits of my little red rocket!

This car is impressive because it moves as fast as your car but except its a freakin SUV that looks like evey other SUV out there, except when you hear the exhaust note.

But in term of quickness, with a test pipe, upped boost and intake you can sure beat one from a roll. Now from a dig, I dont know what the fck if up witht that, those jeeps mock the laws of physics. I mean, they haul ass off the line. Dont know why, it should be the other way around right? wtf
