06'-07 MAZDASPEED 6 Short Shift Plates In Stock!!

Hey Jamie,

Mine will probably arrive next Mon, but I was curious did you include the risers for the speed6 units ?

I saw on some thread (not sure which forums now..lol) and someone mentioned about putting the risers to raise the shifter bracket under the battery like you showed on your website's instructions.

It sure did!! All kits come with them.

Thanks,

well, track day was last weekend, and i forgot to update how i felt the SSP did on track. I can honestly say i think it worked GREAT!!! like i suspected i feel i need a weighted shift knob to help a bit, but overall i love how quickly i could slam into gear without reaching so far!!

specially 3rd & 5th... man that was a REACH from the stock setup. Im tall, so my chair has to be a bit back, enough so that those gears are at the very tip of my reach! No bueno for track, this SSP made that issue a NON-issue!!! i'll need to adjust the shift linkage a gain for fine-tuning for track (due to my past over-adjusting!! haha)... Dyamn i love this short throw!!

Last session of the day, the LAST lap, i also ended up spinning out pretty narely-like too! Bent a wheel, shown in the "what did you do to your MS6/6 today" thread. Overall though, i learned a LOT. For a "novice" class, i was suprised how far ahead of the others i was... a timid driver in an M5 (a powerhouse that obviously kills my car) couldnt keep up with me!!! haha, was passing M3, RSX, Si cars all day! heh.

anyway, thx again for a great engineered part Jamie!
