i have the turbolife FMIC and i welded the aluminum flange onto the coldpipe before the MAF for my turbo XS. only problem is its not loud what so ever.. iunno why. maybe not a strong enough vacume source? its running off the same vacume source as my WGA and TB

well i think i solved the problem. my boost control was a peice of s*** and it was spiking the boost which is why everything was acting up. i removed the boost control and now i can hold a solid 6psi so i just need a new boost control and i should be back at 10psi.

well if the WGA was stuck open wouldnt i build zero pressure cuz it would just dump all the boost?? but yeah when i get some time ill try the compression test

hmm pcv valve seems to be fine. and i checked my BOV and tightened all the intercooler clamps more (cept the ones the connect to the intercooler that i cant get with the bumper on) and i still am only boosting 5-6psi and also my blowoff seems alot quieter. maybe due to less boost?

whats the PCV again? (sorry havent been on the forums in a looong time and i forget the abeviations lol) and yeah true the stock tune is s*** but it feels like a boost leak to me. ill try a compression test

i do have a boost guage. and it read a solid 10psi even when the boost was jumping. it was like the turbo was giving the right amount of boost it just wasnt getting to the engine or something. it would jolt in and out of boost (all the while holding at 10psi on the guage) and then it was like...

hey everyone i havent posted on here for a long time but now that i have some issues i think its time i consult the pro's (meaning all of u). i should have posted this a long time ago but since winter my car has been having major boost issues. i live in saskatchewan so we get some harsh winters...

well im just gonna put everything together and monitor everything alot closer and start saving for a new turbo

and also i was just working on my car again and i checked the intake pipe (the old stock one) and there was a good sized pool of oil in the bottom of it. enough that i could tip it and have some poor out... so there is oil in the intake pipe so im starting to lean more towards the PCV then.

100km and i dont drive it hard at all. never raced. never let the tires break free with the exception of rain and winter haha. so like are u thinking the engine is about to go?? cuz i highly dought that... it runs completely fine and doesnt burn much oil at all. it just has a slow leak that...
