we got some boost issues..

obviously something changed, or you wouldn't have a problem. im just throwing ideas out, the MSP stock tune is junk and is well known for causing issues. could be part of it.

check your PCV also.
 
whats the PCV again? (sorry havent been on the forums in a looong time and i forget the abeviations lol) and yeah true the stock tune is s*** but it feels like a boost leak to me. ill try a compression test
 
PCV valve is located on the back of the valve cover. a vacuum hose runs to a T and 2 lines run to the IM. they can become leaky over time, especially on a boosted car.
 
hmm pcv valve seems to be fine. and i checked my BOV and tightened all the intercooler clamps more (cept the ones the connect to the intercooler that i cant get with the bumper on) and i still am only boosting 5-6psi and also my blowoff seems alot quieter. maybe due to less boost?
 
to find your leak (if you have one) i would really recommend the pressure test. might want to make sure your WGA isn't stuck open as well.
 
well if the WGA was stuck open wouldnt i build zero pressure cuz it would just dump all the boost?? but yeah when i get some time ill try the compression test
 
well i think i solved the problem. my boost control was a peice of s*** and it was spiking the boost which is why everything was acting up. i removed the boost control and now i can hold a solid 6psi so i just need a new boost control and i should be back at 10psi.
