I just intstalled mine today with blue spring and one shim like others have done. What does boost surge sound like? It's not blowing off at slight throttle movements anymore like stock, but Im just worried that I'll mess something up if I don't know what to look out for.

You could always go with a manual closing one, then you are insured that it stay's sealed all the time, but it'd be a pain to open or close it.

I've been looking at that exact same cut-out. I think I'm going to go with a CS downpipe then have a muffler shop mate up a custom "test pipe" so it can dump right after the DP then re-integrate with factory tubing maybe minus a resonator just for giggles.

I would skip the BPV as I don't believe it will help your performance any and then put the money towards some sway-bars, that way you'll feel the difference and feel like you got your moneys worth.
