    Buncha garbage

So...there I was, puttin in a ram air intake in my buddies P5. Lookin at the stock intake on my garage floor in pieces, and the new one sitting next to all of it, was rediculous. But whatever, his new AEM is rad and he's totally satisfied with it. Easy install too, aside from taking out all...

    Ping, ping, ping...

I've noticed that after using 89, my ride hesitates when I first accelerate loses some of it's higher end power. If gas is too much ($2.25 here) where you live, about every 3rd tank or so, get some 92 from Chevron (with that techron crap in it), and a bottle of octane booster. If that still...

    Terrible Engine Noise

Yeah, that's pretty friggin stupid....fuel injectors....whatever. Did you take out that sensor and look at it? If that's fine and everything's normal, just run your engine, pop your hood and see if you can hear where it's coming from. If you still can't tell, have a friend rev it at 500 rpm...

    Tech manuals?

Chiltons and Hayens are pretty much just guides for tearin apart cars. They have a manual for almost every car ever sold in the US, I was just suprised they didn't have one for this. But that website you posted up ROCKS. PS I didn't say "spell by proFession" :D

    Spark plugs and other nonsense

Right on, he's been lookin around this forum for a while and he's gotten some help, I'm just pretty much doing everything him as far as putting things in and shopping around and all that jazz. I drive and work on my Civic so I'm not really used to hunting for parts obviously. :) Lemme know...

    Throttle Cable?

I did it in my civic, no big deal, when my buddy got his mp5, he asked the same question you're asking now. So we opened it up, looked inside and there's nothing you can really do to it. We didn't tear into it, but from all we say, there's nothin.

    Just take it out?

The civic guy Ok, wise asses, enough's enough. When I, the Civic guy, told him about all that ECU nonsense, I was talking about revamping his fuel system, and gettin an adjustable FPR/fuel pump so he can either richen or lean his fuel flow. We were talking about ECU's in that conversation, so...

    Spark plugs and other nonsense

Thanks for the info, but how bout some links to any of that stuff you listed out? Between myself and 2 others, we couldn't find anything. PLUS, being in Hawaii doesn't help either. Most shops don't carry anything for it, and if they do, they're seriously just about twice as much as what you...

    Love the B&M shifter

The only thing your heat shield is good for is to rattle and get in the way. Just take it off and toss it bro. I took mine off my Civic and I have yet to notice ANY difference. If anything, take it off (it's really easy) and keep it in your garage for a bit and if it get's too hot and the a/c...

    Terrible Engine Noise

There is a small sensor in your head just above the exhaust cam gear. It's held in place by one bolt, you might want to try and take it out, put a couple washers between the bracket and the head. That might be what it is. My buddy and I just replaced his cam gears, and it was knocking that...
