That sounds odd. I would try the "pushing down of each corner of the car method," just to see if you can reproduce the the sounds while your car is at a standstill. You know what I mean? If you hear something coming from one of the 4 corners of your car, then maybe you can narrow your search...

yes there is a way, but it involves dropping the entire rear sub frame assembly. lot of work, but i'm sure its well worth it. i didn't have the time to do that, so i just cut it off. lol

That's not good... the lens aren't supposed to be touched with bare hands... something about the oil from our fingers boiling or something and causing the glass casing to shatter....at least for halogen bulbs..not sure for HID? maybe you can take a soft cloth to it?
