I know what you mean as I have the same problem- I solved my problem by having a Mazda dealer wire the lights so their on during the day. As I understand it this is a law in Canada so the dealers who sell in or too Canada have to do it. Your dealer should be able to do it or find out how to do it.

Well my dealer is in washington and I'm in Arizona right now so i guess I'll wait till I get the car back there- it's not fair to sic a dealer on it that didn't sell the car.

Since I read this post I've been using the remote start more (playing) and when ever i use it once started the panic horn goes off and I have to push the button again. Not good with the neighbors in the morning. Is this normal?
