can I make LED dashboard displays brighter when running headlights in daytime?

For safety reasons, I like to have my headlights on, even on a bright sunny days. However, turning on the headlights automatically dims the LED displays that show the time and music settings.

On days like this, I'm usually wearing my sunglasses. So, once the LED displays DIM, I can't read them anymore.

Is there any way to make them brighter and/or just turn-off the auto-dimming?

I know what you mean as I have the same problem-
I solved my problem by having a Mazda dealer wire the lights so their on during the day. As I understand it this is a law in Canada so the dealers who sell in or too Canada have to do it. Your dealer should be able to do it or find out how to do it.

Push IN the button/dial that adjusts the brightness on the left side. It should put it back into day mode. You would push it in just like you reset your trip A and B odometer thing.

However that's for my 2007, I am not sure about the 11's
