Is There Anyway to Convince Mazda to Bring the 2014 6 Wagon to the U.S.

I loved the original Mazda6, still do. Not many V6 wagons you could buy with a manual, and it looked better than the sedan IMO. I was very disappointed the 2nd Gen didn't come as a wagon. In Canada, wagons are very popular (there are/were numerous 6 wagons around), so considering they've gone...

Test drove CX-5 GT, my impressions

I currently own a mazda5 and am curious about how it compares to the cx-5. Is there a noticeable difference in cargo space between the two?

    Advice on 2010 CX9 GT

I am currently looking at a used 2010 CX9 GT with bose and sunroof (no nav or res) with 20k miles. They're asking $28,000. I'm in Canada, but the car is in the US, which means a bit of fees and duties when crossing the border, but still way better than local prices. Any thoughts on this price...

2010 Touring or 2008 Grand Touring

Hi folks, I found a couple of CX-9's on Ebay that interest me. Both are the same price. One is a 2010 Touring with about 20,000 miles and the other is a 2008 GT with the same mileage. The GT has DVD, GPS, Bose, Xenon, 20" rims. Having not seen the cars in person, I can't comment on...

    2012 Mazda5

Are you suggesting that Mazda pays Car and Driver for positive reviews?

    2012 Mazda5

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/car/11q1/2012_mazda_5_grand_touring-short_take_road_test As usual with Mazdas, they seem to really like the new vehicle. Also, a .4 second increase to 60 is not bad. It's probably even quicker with the manual. Still no racecar.

Best Part of the GT is those power assist doors. Awesome if you have kids.

Officially official: 2010 LA Auto Show of the 2012 Mazda 5

The Canadian Spec sheet lists Economy at 9.7/6.7 l/100km. Also, it looks like 6-speed is available on both trim levels. Not sure though.

Mazda5 Fighter: Ford C-Max coming to the US

Car and Driver says no manual, but 6-speed auto. Too bad.

Tied for 5th Best Car in Consumer Reports

Maybe this has been posted already, but Consumer Reports scored the Mazda5 as the 5th best car on the market. It was beaten only by a BMW, Lexus, Porsche, and Infinity. That's pretty good company. People are starting to catch on in a big way. My wife teaches piano and three of her students...

    Official 2011 Mazda5 Thread

The genius of the i-Stop is that it does not use the starter to restart the engine. Apparently it parks a piston at the top of the cylinder ready for detonation. A restart simply requires a spark.

    Official 2011 Mazda5 Thread

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing this in person. I don't mind the swoopy lines and the big grin doesn't seem that bad either. I do have some issue with the tail lights. The proportions look really off in that first picture. I wish they would have kept the tall lights. I actually like the...

    F2 Supercharger

Here is what F2 is saying on a different forum regarding automatics: Is Stage 1 safe for my transmission (list automatic and manual differences in power handling)? Stage 1 is safe for all transmissions and even the stock clutch, but you must take care of your car. If you like to burn rubber a...

    F2 Supercharger

I suggest anyone interested get on the F2 forum and let them know you like to see this. They're very quick in responding to comments on the site. It seemed like only focus and Mz3 owners posting on the forum. We need to represent Mz5's. I would love to volunteer my car, except that I don't...

    F2 Supercharger

F2 is looking for a volunteer. Here's what they said: "SOmeone have a Mazda5 that is willing to let F2 use it to r/d a supercharger kit for it?" http://www.f2usa.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=40&st=100&start=100

    F2 Supercharger

I believe I read in the f2 forums that they are developing it for automatics as well. The nice thing about super vs. turbo is that it leaves your entire exhaust intact, so it does not affect O2 sensors, or very much cutting. Apparently the whole installation takes 4-5 hours, and all you need...

    F2 Supercharger

http://www.f2usa.com/products/06%252d09-Mazda3-Supercharger-Kit-2.3-Manual-Stage-1.html I found this in the mazda 3 forum. This would be a great option for Mazda 5 owners who want a bit more power and meet CARB. 4 hour bolt on for +50 whp. It hasn't been tested on a 5 yet, but the builder...

How often do you see another Mazda 5 in your neck of the woods?

I live in Winnipeg, Canada, and we bought a Protege5 when they first came out. We thought we were pretty original, but then they were everywhere, especially silver. There was an identical one to ours at the house behind us and at least 3 more within two blocks of our house. Then we bought an...
