    GI: Unused Simota TwinCharger CAI

I have an unused, new in box 2.0L/1.8L Simota TwinCharger CAI that I bought in a mini GB on this forum for my Protege5. I ended up being too lazy to do much beyond opening the box to ogle at the contents. Chances are I won't install it now, so I thought I'd see if anyone is interested in taking...

What do you guys want? Submit your ideas for swag here!

I wish we could get a die-cast model 1:43 or bigger, but I suppose it would need a large demand for the price to be reasonable.

ABS & E-Brake Lights stay on

By okay, how much brake fluid do you have? This happened once to me too even though the brake fluid level in the reservoir was more than halfway between Min and Max. Topping it off solved that one for me. Beyond that, I'll defer to the more capable people on this forum.

    Pics of my new P5

Nice car (first) I'm a neophyte myself, but I'm guessing that's an SRI. Somebody else might be able to say what kind. Is that an Optima Redtop battery?

    Bike rack on hatch

Yeah I have one of those, but put it on only when I need it. The one I got has foam ring around the bars that have body contact. The hooks at the end of the straps are metal, but I was able to get it on and off without scratching any paint. I don't remember at this moment if the upper bar rested...

    midnight run

Exactly. Track/Autocross are better places to find out your or your car's limits. Secluded road and nobody around eh? Let's say something bad happened. Now who's going to help you? (notcool)

Probable new P5 owner with questions

I don't think the ABS question got answered, so yes, the 6-CD-sunroof-leather package came with ABS and side airbags. That's what I have.

I got my hat and T-shirt today! Wheee! Thanks Rickman. Guess what I'm going to be wearing to the track from now on. Now I want a hoodie with the other design before it starts to get cold :D (poke)

What have you done to your P5 today?

Parked it under a tree outside a friend's apartment and got it crapped on by birds (argh) I'd got some body work done in early June - would the paint have cured by now so I can wash the car?

best brake pads for the $$$ ?

I must say I have a totally different experience on my stock brakes. I take the car to the track regularly and have never found the braking inadequate, nor warped my rotors. I don't engage the hand brake in the paddock after a run when the brakes are hot. The pads do fade like there's no...
