I have a 2014 GT. This adapter didn't work for me. I spoke with Metra/Axxess about it and they said it probably won't work on anything that is 2014 and newer. I just ran a new USB up into the arm rest console.
The parking sensors weren't available in the 2014 model year North American CX-5, as far as I know. In any case, I don't have them in my Grand Touring model, so I am unfortunately unable to provide any insight. My guess is that what you are asking may not be possible—just one of those things...
On one hand, you only live once. Might as well be happy.
On the other, assuming you financed the entire vehicle save for your trade value, you might be incredibly upside down if you trade up to a 2016. You might comfortable to afford it, but do you really want to throw away $5-10K? There goes...
Here was my solution. Looks like I accidentally deleted the photos, sorry!

No, aside from the fact that Mazda is a partner in this, there is no further information.
It could be quite some time, as in 2016 or beyond. There is some speculation that Google has diverse plans for Android in cars.
Best advice I can give at the moment is to WAIT until after CES 2015 in early January to see what is coming in the next year. There is a medium-high chance that we will see many more CarPlay/AndroidAuto-compatible headunits.
The wiper/lighting/locking presets are not lost. Their behavior just...
I am going to preface my response by saying there is absolutely no benefit to warming up the car. This does not help the SkyActiv at all. Idling the engine only wastes fuel and you have to do so for a very long time before the blue coolant temperature light turns off. The fastest way to get that...
I put a set of Continental ExtremeWinterContact on my Grand Touring last week. I bought them based on this test and also that they're a hair cheaper than the Blizzaks. With about 100 miles on them so far, I am quite pleased coming down to 17" from 19". The ride is very nice and certainly quieter...
Quick fitment question: would these wheels from a Mazda Tribute meet compatible wheel specifications for a CX-5 winter wheel/tire set? They're for sale locally at very cheap and I'm trying to figure out whether they might work. TireRack wasn't sure (although they're roughly the same specs as the...
I've been following this thread for a year. It pains me. I understand everyone's frustration, I do. It sucks that a legacy feature was removed. Seriously though, and this is just my opinion, but this isn't going to be fixed, especially not with a 2016 redesign with MazdaConnect around the...
Parrot actually does this, well sort of. Close as we have for now, anyway. See down there where you can select car-specific firmware? Unfortunately, this is not for USA vehicles, but I'm super curious to see what would happen if I flashed one of the Mazda firmwares onto my Asteroid Smart.
