Love this CX-5 I got, with grand touring package, but Bose stereo sounds just ok. Not horrible, but could be a lot better. I'm not really too concerned with Pandora or streaming the Iphone music app, and many have expressed concerns with that.
But what irks me to no end is that despite having steering wheel audio controls, you can't go from FM1-->FM2--->AM without having to reach over and touch the screen to cycle through those presets. No source button on the steering wheel. Voice command way too cumbersome and slow as an alternative. Seems outrageously shortsighted for a 2015 vehicle.
Any chance we'll ever see a fix for this simple problem? All they would need to do is update the software so that when the FM/AM button is selected on the touchscreen, just allow the head unit to cycle through all the FM1-FM2-AM radio presets with the steering wheel control. That wouldn't even require a new source button. I'd be ok with manually pressing the touchscreen to go to a CD or SiriusXM (though the last Traverse I had would cycle up to 5 favorite pages and let you mix FM/AM/and Sirius all together. Though got 16.5 mpg with city driving as a price to pay for such convenience.)
But at least that 1 little fix seems doable.
