Someone at Import Tuner is an asshat...

And just to prove that we're not gay we're putting the biggest aluminum wing we can find on the back of a front wheel drive car and making sure we have a hooker with her ass hanging out on every cover. Oh, and Hondas are the bestest cars of all times. -Import Tuner

A new tire size that WILL fit the stock MP3.

I'm thinking of ordering the V700's heat cycled this time. I think it's supposed to increase their life a little bit. I've been told that you can acheive the same reults by taking a long freeway trip on them but the factory way of doing it has got to be far more scientific,

A new tire size that WILL fit the stock MP3.

cj, my V700's were toast after last season also. super bad wear on the outside shoulder. I should have flipped them sooner. The inside was like brand new. I'm going to a custome alignment shop in a couple weeks to see what can be done and still stay stock. I'll let you knwo what I can find out...

    Finally Caught HER!!! (ASIANHOTTIE)

Linux, If you want to be a good father like you claim you are then you need to gain custody of your kid and put all of this craziness to a complete end so you can get on with giving your child a stable home situation free of abuse (mental and physical). Otherwise, there's just going to be one...

    2003 SCCA Autocross classing changes

The LSD cars could be pretty tough. I'm with you though, I still think the MP3 could be the best car in GS.

    2003 SCCA Autocross classing changes

Finally, some competition!:p GS stacks up to be a pretty damn tough class when you think about it! I'm not quite convinced that the Cooper S will be as much of a threat in GS as the regular Cooper is in HS. But it could be! It probably didn't belong in DS though. I'm happy with the changes...

    Airbag Light?

Mods or no, get that thing back to the shop or better yet the dealership. That light is there to tell you that you have a problem with your airbag. Plain and simple. That's NOT GOOD! I'm positive that any dealership has a very liberal policy when it comes to fixing anything connected to the...

    Greedy Evo Cat-back For Protege!!!

Yeah, I would like to see some numbers from people who changed exhausts and got better (or worse) performance from the swap. That would definitely be interesting for those of us autocrossing in GS as we are allowed to change the exhaust. Can't hurt to get a little extra torque or HP. Don't...

    New cross-Drill design

yep, you should have gotten on the brakes a little sooner before you made that turn!:D I checked the thread and didn't see anything like that here.

    New cross-Drill design

M3's have amazing brakes to begin with. I couldn't imagine with a full big brake upgrade. But that's a car that has some horsepower to tame. Unlike the Protege. I think we can get by just fine w/o the big brake stuff. Now if you had a turbo or something, maybe it would start to make sense to go...

    New cross-Drill design

Thr rotors warp because they get hot. They get hot because the pads get hot and there's the whole friction thing going on between the pad and rotor. The rotors absorb the heat from the pads the pads absorb heat from the calipers. The fluid is there to provide hydraulic pressure as well as hep...

    New cross-Drill design

Wouldn't better pedal feel be better performance? Tires will improve braking performance. But they will not get rid of rotors warping or keep brake fade from happening. Actually, your advice was to downshift and use the tranny to slow the car down. That's what prompted me to chime in.

    New cross-Drill design

Like I said above, better pads and better brake fluid. I haven't warped my rotors(they're stock) since I've been using the Hawks and the Ford High Perf. brake fluid and bleeding the system on a regular basis, which is usually after I do a major track day or after a couple autocrosses. I didn't...

    Mazdaspeed Motorsport Team Support Program

Got rotors for $28 ea.! Super good deals on stuff. Great program. NOTE: the parts come without warranty, not that it voids your car's warranty. I don't believe Honda or any other offer anything like this. They have performance divisions like TRD for Toyota and Ford Racing. But nothing that...

    Mazdaspeed members?

Yeah, the competition program is set up so that peope who race can buy stock, OEM AND competition parts at a discounted price. But the requirements are very strict. They're even strict about the types of items you are purchasing based on the type of racing you do. for instance this line in the...

    New cross-Drill design

Hold on just one second.... While heel toe downshifting(The technique of blipping the throttle while braking and before realeasing the clutch when you are slowing down) is a great thing to master for high performance driving AND as a way to help save your transmission from wear, it is NOT the...

I run my daily driver at autocross at least once a month. Besides increased tire wear my car performs as good as the day I bought it.
