I got 23,000 out of my sp9000's.....There were times that I put them to work. I just put a pair of TOYO PROXIES T1 plus. I went with 215 45 17's. So far no rubbing...but I have yet to really test them on dry. They worked very well in the wet. SO far I'm happy.

By the way...I don't think it's a Kenwood issue. I feel that would be upto Mazda USA. All the MP3's should all be the same from the factory. That is what makes it a limited edition model.

I beleive what Grimace is talking about is called backlash. One has to be smoother on the accelerator. I beleave the poly bushing motermount will fix your troubles Thats my next mod.

I also have that proglem. I feathered the clutch aswell. Then the clutch chatter began. the dealership upgraded it for me...after two stock ones didn't do the job.
