I just bought my MP3 used, and It has 38K. I just replaced my stock SP9000's on the front. They were pretty bad. The rear wheels had already been replaced with Yokohamas. I have the Yoko AVS ES1000 on the front and they're great.

My car has 28800 km now and my Dunlops are still here, but don't forget I switch to Toyo winter tires in winter. There, I imagine my Dunlops ran around 18000km and I think they're still good for another summer season.

I got about 21k mi. out of my SP-9000's. Just replaced them with Yokohama Parada Spec-2s because I just couldn't do the extra $30/tire, although I think I like the Yokos better anyway.

I have 18 grand on my Dunlops, and just had them rotated, they still look decent. Starting to get a little funny noise outta the front passenger tire, so I'll probably switch them out with the Yoko Spec-2's soon. About 13-20 thousand is the norm as far as this board is concerned. As long as you can get a grip on the road, your alright, just use your judgement.

changed my right front at 22k after i bought the car at 19.5k with about 50%tread on the tire, opted to go for the much cheaper kumho ecsta supra and im liking it, prolly get nitto nt-450's next

I've gotten 32K from mine and I left them on through winter. They weren't as bad in snow as I thought, just had to be careful. They are making some really bad sounds now so I'm getting new ones. Hope this helps!

I think I have 17,000+ miles on my SP9000 and all 4 still looks above average tread.... but, I don't think they will last through next Spring as I have been autocrossing with them this year. I do rotate them often and that helps out a lot.

well i have really abused them and never rotated them so up front is starting to look bald but the back are fine im at 5g's

I would only recomend them if you plan on doing alot of wet weather driving which they are excelent at but as far as dry grip goes they arnt the greatest id go with a set of yoks or kumo's or somthing like that.

my driver side front Dunlop sp9000's tread is really shallow but all the rest of the tires' treads are pretty deep but the left front has me kind of worried. i can push my fingers about a quarter inch into the tread of all the others and about an eighth into this one. i think it is from careless driving on my part probably. but my right front (passenger) has been replaced one time because of a nasty whole in it. maybe i should just rotate them to the back and just hold it like that until i can afford to buy a whole new set. i have 16000 miles on all of the tires except the passenger front in which i have about 8000 miles on it.
i think i will just rotate them and buy a set of yokohama paradas at around 20000 miles

I got 23,000 out of my sp9000's.....There were times that I put them to work. I just put a pair of TOYO PROXIES T1 plus. I went with 215 45 17's. So far no rubbing...but I have yet to really test them on dry. They worked very well in the wet. SO far I'm happy.

Upgrade

Read the reviews and maybe upgrade to the stock MSP tires, Bridgestone Potenza RE040 215-45-ZR17. A little wider can't hurt. They should fit the same. Good enough for lambo cunta or somethin' My winter tires are the Michelin Pilot Alpine 215-45-ZR17. Work really well!

Can't speak about the 9000's, but I got 29K miles on the SP5000's on my ES with spirited driving. Didn't do too many smokey burnouts though....they kill tires too fast.

I got about 22k out of them .... they are only considered a 20 thousand mile tire, they are so soft.
