Yeah I had a little trouble. Ive got a 2003 ES. I found it was easier to take the air filtering housing out of the car to close it back up. You might try that if you are still having trouble. It should still fit snug though.

You know now that I think of it... how much louder is the MSP exhaust then stock exhaust on a P5 or ES for example? I've driven both and didn't pay too close attention.
