This is a n00bish question, but what exactly is it? Is riding the clutch when you hold in the clutch at stops or is it when you don't pull the shifter out of gear when you stop? I've been driving manuals for 3 years and never really figured out exactly what it ment.

Heres a tip, if reverse doesn't engage immediately, try putting your shifter in 2nd then put it back into reverse.

I have the same problem, but its a bigger problem when I first start driving the car, once the engine is warmed up it pretty much dissappears. I'm thinking my issue might be spark plugs.

Try buffing it out with one of those $15-$20 buffers from Walmart. This worked like a charm when I got hit going to work when some dumbass didn't pay attention and hit my ass end.

Most cars actually suggest 87 octane, but I see people run 85 all the time, my friends do it. and I did it in my 88 Corolla all the time and saw no problems, until the tow truck hit it :) I honestly wouldn't recommend it unless you don't care about the car, I run midgrade all the time.

ehh I dunno...white gets pretty dirty fast too. Black shows water spots and salt better, but White shows dirt the best.
