should i get the silicon ones or the plastic "ribbed" loom? which ones would looke better and if you have a set which ones do you have?

THANKS!

They both look good, if you take your time and make it neat. The ribbed looming tends to dry rot after a while and break off.

is there a kit or something for our car or is it universal and just cut to size? also pics of it installed please.

well yes, there is a kit i think its like $50 there is also a universal one...you can pick it up at autozone for $20 (that one is silicone)

I dont no. But I have known people who have the ribbed wire loom and its cracked. The silicone is a nice change...might want to mix it up a bit.

"spectre" brand wire loom from pepboys will crack and fade. I special ordered "Taylor" brand (IIRC) loom from discount auto and it hasn't cracked or faded yet.

Good luck! I did mine with high-temp primer, high-temp "chrome" paint, and high-temp clear. "Baked" it under a gas heater, and still let it sit for four hours before driving. At the end of my 10 minute ride home, it had already started to discolor. Now it fades from sh*t brown at the cat to gold at the head. I imagine the heat off of the cat is just too intense for it to hold up..........

ahh, of course, hold on while i go run out and get a header and miss a car payment (uhm)

you get a header because you want more power, not because your heat shield happens to get too hot.
