arm alarm with tt

nope, didnt cut the wire.
didnt know about it then.

and what do u mean in the rear dash?
is it on the left or the right?
is it just behind the backs of the rear seats......behind the plastic cover?

I don't have a TT, but I read this thread & decided to try to find it & take pics for the rest of you. It's pretty straightforward, the pics progressively zoom in on the location of the white keyless entry box.

1. Fold down your back seats
2. Remove the 5 pins from the plastic (don't break them & don't lose them)
3. Pull the plastic toward you (as you can see, I had to hold it out with my leg)
4. Do the wire cutting stuff mentioned earlier
5. Replace everything & you're done

So Sound...do you think that the combination of a relay AND cutting this wire will solve this problem?

If they each work individually, they SHOULD work together, but you probably have to just try it & find out.

u're a little wrong there, they dont work individually, well at least the solenoid doesnt.
did the blue/white wire cutting on my car this morning......worked! step in the right direction.

if my friend is working today, then i will be trying to install the solenoid in his shop (i dont have a volt meter).

will let u guys know later on today.

blask majik, thanks again bro.
this guy is nutz, he was taking pics at 1 am last night!!!

FYI.. i cut my wire.. and my alarm/locks still work.. The catch is if you arm b4 the car is off the doors will lock, but no alarm. if you wait till the car turns off, the alarm and locks work fine. For me this is fine, if im in a bad location i just wait the 30 secs b4 i lock the doors, if im in a rush and feel safe i just use no alarm. eventually i will fix it with a relay.

wel **** me running my alrms not on im glad i read back trough this thread ill figure out how to do it tomorow sry bought that that everyone

I bet when we all finally get this to work our stupid shock sensors are going to set the alarm off from engine vibration!! Hahahaha.....bet you anything....

If that actually happened, you can just turn down the sensitivity.

or you can run another relay to turn it on after the engine shuts off.
......and then another relay to turnt the first relay on.....

pretty soon our cars will be nothing more then a pile of relays.

CommieSpeed, i was thinking the same thing....i'm pretty sure the most vibration will be from when the car turns off........i think the alarm will beep only once.

by george ive done it.all you have to do is cut blue white wire at keyless modual.and then cut the pin 6 orange wire at the alarm brain (diagram on bottomof alarm)then take the alarm side of the wire.I REAPEAT THE SIDE OF THE WIRE STILL CONECTED TO THE ALARM and tap it into the thick black orange wire out of the alarm.then tape up the car side of the orange wire.your done enjoy the horid sound of our horn
