Build yourself a new lead.

Find out what gauge wire that is and get some. Bigger will work but might be harder to work with. Smaller WILL NOT WORK. I would cut off a bit of the end of the harness and take it to compare with wherever you will get some. You can get wire by the foot at Home Depot.

If you are careful and handy, you might be able to reuse that terminal by uncrimping it. Alternatively, head to a junkyard (preferably a pick and pull) and show the guys what you need and see if there are any Mazdas or Ford Focus cars from that era and see if they can cut off that module and leave you 12" or so of wire to work with. You then have 2 sections of wires and terminals to work with. If you are super nice and biz is slow, they might not even charge you.

Cut the insulation back a bit on your harness until you see some good clean copper and cut off all the corroded stuff. Get a butt connector for that gauge wire, a lot of solder, GOOD FLUX, a torch, and heat shrink. Put the the heat shrink on and scoot it back to where it won't get warm. Put flux on all the copper, then butt connect the new wire with the harness and crimp the butt connector. Use the torch to heat it up and flow as much solder front middle and back of the butt connector. Pull the heat shrink over the connection and heat shrink it.

For the terminal end, again, use flux, crimp it up, torch it and flow solder into it. (if you used the old terminal, CLEAN IT until shiny first). Or buy a new terminal from Autozone or Harbor Freight or wherever.

If you do it well, it will last until the car goes to the junkyard.

Flux is super duper important. Without flux the solder won't do s***.

As an aside, a shop can probably do it for not too much. It's an easy repair for them. Getting the car like this is a problem though.
