Hi all, I just bought a 2014 CX-5 Sport and I'm trying to figure out whether the infotainment version needs to be updated. I'll attach a pic of the current version.
I called Mazda and the secretary said I'd need to bring it in to see if it needs an update. Helpful

Anyways, the USB port is "greyed out" and doesn't recognize any devices. Brand new cable, different devices. Never shows as an option. I suspect the two are related but unsure.
Can anyone tell me what version it should be and if it will make any notable difference?
Dealer said $70 to update which is insane to me, as someone who does all of their own work on their car! But I don't want to mess with software myself.
