Help me find a part? '17 CX-5 GT - rear pass door back applique doesn't look like the others...

I bought mine used from a dealer in TX and I'm finding all kinds of shoddy repairs and coverups. I noticed this piece rattling while on a road trip. The top had been glued on. I headed for the closest walmart but when I was 5mi away, it snapped off. I'll attach photos. The piece is the black plastic panel that just behind the rear pass window. The only ones I can find online are a straight column. Mine is a column with a triangle at the bottom - all one piece. The closest thing I could find is a similar part on the CX-9. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
(btw - I'm in CA by the way so going back to the dealer is not an option...)

Good question...I searched around briefly and it does seem hard to find so far...Could it be that the diagram shown is incorrect and the part is actually correct? Have you tried emailing various Dealer / OEM suppliers to confirm? Maybe they can provide photographic evidence?
