MS3 Wheel Fitment Pics & Specs

D00d, I traded the Hypertech and got a Dash Hawk. I asked my parents for a AccessPort for Xmas. lol I'm ******* 30 and I'm asking for a tuner. Is that lame?

That's not lame! I wish my parents still got me big ticket items for Christmas.

Sumitomo HTR ZIII 225/45/18
Stock suspension setup
No modifications to the fenders
No clearance issues lock to lock. Rubs very slightly on huge bumps....o need for concern.
Sits flush with the fenders and gives the car an aggressive stance. Supremely happy!

Real nice.

I want your hood too btw (2thumbs)

thanks! still have some work to do to the hood. the grill it came with was slightly damaged so i need to repaint it and i still have work to do to the undertray. it fits but the hood closes tight. it's really minor but my friend and i are determined to get it right :)

~Tein Stech springs
~17x9 38offset (will it rub)
~tire ( plz suggest a size)
Or.
~Tein Stech springs
~18x8 48 offset ( any rubbing)
~Tire 225/45/18?

thanks guys.

I'm thinking for your second option, you should go with 225/40/18. its closer to the OEM diameter tire, thats all the input I can give you though. Unless you want a thicker tire wall...

18x8 +47 with 235/40. Koni Yellows with H&R springs. Fenders untouched. I've searched just about everywhere to get a definite answer. Will it rub?

2 months later... Not sure if you still need an answer but...

Based on my experience with 18x8 +40 and 225/40 Hankooks (not all tires are created equal when it comes to section width) I rubbed like crazy in the rear after I installed my Koni Yellows and cut the rear bump stops down by about 2-3".

I will be installing some H&R springs in the Spring once it warms up but I'm definitely going to need to roll the fenders before that happens, your more than welcome to use the roller when it gets rented.

Rims!

So boys, Ive bent the hell out of one of my speed3 rims. 1 new one is 550$ from dealer, the hell with that.
So i've found some rims a guy had on his speed6, and was wondering if they will fit. I plan on lower the car next year as well and i dont want to rub at all.

19 x 8 - 40mm offset - 5 x 114.3

Opinions??

I'd love to see a better/close picture of that setup.

What is your suspension setup?

I'll have better pictures soon, I am using BC Racing EDP coilovers (maxed), Dominant Engineering camber arms, fenders rolled flat all around. A few other things had to be done, but overall it was very simple.
