MS3 Wheel Fitment Pics & Specs

hey guys, I had a quick question and I couldn't find any other situations like mine in other threads so dont chop my balls off for making a comment on here...

I have stock rims and Im looking to get some stance soon here in the summer. Im planning on getting raceland coils but I was wondering what size spacers I should run with if I want a flush look with my tires being even with my fenders. Im a broke college kid, so nicer coils and bigger wheels will come later :]

Thanks for any feed back!

^you aren't going to get much love for spacers on here. that being said, 10mm spacers won't have integrated bolts so you will loose strength in the lugs as the lug nuts won't thread on much. 20mm will have integrated bolts so that would be stronger, but will push you to rubbing territory on un-rolled rear fenders.

Yeah if you go 10mm, make sure you get some extended studs for safety. 20mm is what you'll need for the flush look though. As Jon said, you'll need a roll.

Ok I am a newb and hope you can understand if not I'll gladly put the flame suit on. I am wanting to run 235/40/18, but am unsure what offset and width to get on the wheel. I am not looking for a stretched look by any means. I want a nice clean almost flush to flush look. I dont mind rolling the fenders, but refuse to pull the fender. I also do not wish to run any more negative camber than stock (unless I was tracking the car, but thats another set up). Please point me in the right direction if possible. Thanks

tires

I'm running on stock suspension right now and have a set of xxr 522 18x8.5 on the way. I plan on running 235/40/18 naxen 3000 tires, will i rub at all?
i also plan on getting BC BR coilovers here soon, what adjustments will i need? ill most likely have to get a camber kit and roll my fenders correct?

Hi !

I only have 4/32 on my current Bridgestone RE760 Sport 225/40/R18... must I change it during this summer ??? I will drive maybe 8000-10000km more before next winter.

With my currently setup ... RX-8 wheel + eibach pro kit + eibach pro spacer 10mm can I put 235/40/R18 easily without any rubbing ?

I want the much larger setup possible without any rubbing

thanks for your help

Your pretty much deadset on rubbing with that combo in the rear, but with a roll on the fenders/quarters will take car of that

18x8 +45 is going to be the safest bet. Depending on what tire you run you will probably still need fender work with 18x8 +40 (fender roll).

18x8.5 +35 will most likely require a roll and a pull. You will probably be able to go with the +50 with only a roll. This is all tire dependent of course.

I was wondering if anyone has a pic of the second gen Speed 3s. I am wondering if an 18x8 with a +40mm offset with a 225/40 tire would work? I know the +45mm offset would work but not sure about the 40+mm

I ran that on my first gen and there isn't much difference. You will need to roll the fenders and trim the bumper back on the inside.

Hey i got a question,

I've got a pearl white 2013 mazda 3 Maxx Sport 2.0 (Australian) Just wandering if the wheels "Enkei Kojin and Enkei Raijin"(which rim do you think will look nicer) in the size 18x8.5 50 offset on 225 tyres will fit, ill be getting corksport coils, how much fender work will be needed? Both are same size. And is the bolt pattern 5x114.3? Just making sure haha. Or will it be better off just getting 18x8 45?

Sorry for asking so many questions, better off saying them all at once then one at a time.

Thanks.

wondering if 18x9.5 rota grids with +20 offset will fit. have my fenders rolled and lowered on h&r springs/shocks. and if so what size tire I can run

Not easily. Would definitely have to do more fender work like a pull and run a bunch of negative camber. And after all that there's no guarantee it will fit.

alright ill look into it more. just getting a great deal on these so I would be hoping they would fit

Hey guys! I have a Mazdaspeed 3 2008.5 and I want to change my wheels this summer! I really want the Cosmis MR7 wheels! The spec are 18"x9" +25 and the tires will be 215/45/18 or 215/40/18! What do you think about the fitment? I rolled my fenders at the back last summer, do I have to pull the fenders a lot? I'm Rolling on BC coilovers!

Here's the link for Cosmis: http://www.cosmisusa.com/shop/mr7-gunmetal/

And my car!
