I found quite a bit of oil in my radiator today. My engine oil level has been dropping about 1 qt every 1200 miles. Today I was boosting a bit more than usual and my hot pipe popped off. There was some oil that was on the turbo side of the hot pipe but nothing on the ic side. There is some noticeable leakage on the bottom of the turbo. There was also oil on the boTom radiator hose and passanger side fan. I also was dripping oil on the floor from the radiator side. The car has no driveability issues and does not smoke. (He oil pan has no water in it. Do you guys have any idea where my oil leak could be coming from snd how it is getting in the radiator?

The oil in the turbo is normal, unless it's a whole lot. Could be the VC vent hose that runs to the intake or a little leaking from the seals. The oil on the outside of the turbo is probably a bad oil return gasket. But the oil in the radiator could be due to a bad head gasket.

I drained the radiator and took a picture of it. See attached. It almost looks like rust too but I'm not sure. Any opinions?

oil in the radiator is Never a good sign, drive it as little as possible ( preferably not at all) and bring it to a mechanic.sounds like a headgasket, which is what killed my engine:(

There is no doubt about it that he has a blown head gasket. Just take a look at his photo! DO NOT drive that car or you risk washing out the cyclinder walls and causing more damage.

^ He probably didn't do anything and just traded it in.

That would be correct my man. That would be my 3rd MSP that I've owned and essentially killed. I crashed my yellow, blew up my Titanium, and then cracked the block on this Black MSP. So I gave up on the MSP for now. Its great while it runs but as a daily driver its too unreliable. I'm sure the LSD on the black would have gone out next. It happend on the yellow and the titanium around the same mileage. I liked the MSP best when I had a warranty and had everything fixed for free and they gave me a rental car to get around town with in the mean time. Once that warranty ran out, well things just were never the same.

I feel bad for whoever buys that poor MSP because I highly doubt the Dealer that now owns it would bother to fix it properly if they don't have to.

I'm curious if the block was actually cracked or if it was just a bad HG.

It was confirmed to be cracked. I took it apart because I was going to replace the HG. I found the crack, then I cracked.
