Thanks anyone elsethe return? if i recall, the return feeds the oil cooler... dont quote me on that.
The oil just drains into the pan but the coolant is different, it hooks back into a coolant elbow.the return is below the turbo i think there are two allen bolts holding it on. I thought it just went back in the pan but i could also be wrong hahaits been a while since i messed with it...
There is a rubber elbow that the supply hooks into that runs from the coolant block on the driver's side of the engine to a metal coolant line that runs underneath the exhaust mani to the thermostat housing. The return runs to the back of the block, maybe to the oil cooler fitting but I can't see.
In case it's not clear, the supply side goes around to a teed banjo fitting that attaches to the block and to the oil cooler.
If I did it that way would I run the return to the oil cooler, wouldn't that be to hotthats pretty common. if i recall, you can also get a fitting for your upper rad hose to feed the supply.
