so i have been tracking down boost leaks and issues with my car for about two weeks now. The first night i installed my front mount intercooler, after popping a couple couplers, I finally thought that i made my car run correctly. it boosted where it should be about 6.5psi, and it built boost fast, i would probably say by 4k if i was getting on it, however i did not note exactly where it would hit full boost. than the next day i had a boost leak, so I tightened all of my clamps a little, still no bueno. than i started doing boost leak tests, where i take a plastic bag and clamp it on the turbo intake and use a compressor to pressurize the intercooler piping. i found a few leaks and tightened them up and eliminated them accordingly. it than boosted to about 5psi but eventually the next day it was under 5, and it built boost slow. I could be at 6k in 1st gear and barely hit 5psi... than a pipe popped off because a clamp broke. while trying to replace the clamp 2 more broke so i got a bunch of new T-bolt clamps and tightened them all down. Tonight after tightening everything down i did another boost leak test, and no leaks. I added more pressure through the compressor, and it eventually popped off of the intake because of the pressure. no leaks to be seen heard or felt... i am kinda at a loss for words, dont really know why the hell it isn't boosting correctly and its really starting to annoy me. I am working on the car all day tomorrow so i HAVE TO FIX IT. tonight i also replaced a bunch of vaccum lines as well, thinking the old ones might be cracked... didnt help. please, if you have any insight, help a bro out...
here is how my vacuum lines are set up...
