Please help!!!!! Before i shoot my car with a bazooka!!!!

so while i was replacing my radiator last night i blew into the WGA again just to see what happend... i could hear the diaphram move just from me blowing in it and saw it move a little. that cant be normal, so i ordered a new one from atp.

Check the flap then take a pic so we can see the flap this is killing me..

Pull on the wga rod and see if it moves with out alot of force. Maybe your spring is broke or weak in the wga causing it to open prematurely or stuck. Or just undo it and move the flapper from the outside. I have seen flappers crack from heat and break apart also, which may be an issue as well. ATP seems to work fairly well, I have had no issues in about 10k of stock boost levels, so you can't go wrong by changing it also. Good luck man, I hate problems like this, where there is no good way to analyze it.

well check everything else first, rule every possible thing out then move on to actually pulling things off. Sorry to tell you but it looks like this is going to mean some more intensive work than just looking at things

Well yea I have nor problem with working on the car, I've taken the fmic setup off and on on rerouted it nd trimmed it probably 10 times the past 2 weeks. I'm just checking everything possible before I pull the turbo out.

multiple boost leaks that kept reoccuring, also i believe the wastegate flap may still be missaligned. i am throwing on my gt28r soon so i will know for sure than

YOu could have the same issue I had with mine. The WG itself backed out and the flap was hitting the inside of the housing and not closing fully.

So I checked my car with the EXACT same issue (no boost at low RPM's and don't reach max boost 8psi untill about 5500rpm if I even hit it at all). At full throttle in third gear at 3000rpm it goes to 3-4psi and sits there until HIGH rpm then it might go up to 8 psi , first I checked the BPV and it doesn't leak....secondly I did a boost pressure test and pressurized the system to 20psi and NO leaks. Is there anything else it could be before I tear down the whole exhaust turbo system to check the flapper on the turbo?
Thanks

Thats a lot of work just for a flapper. But to get my boost back it is definitely worth it. Every once and a while i'll get a shot of boost and it feels great and then I try it again and it's gone :(

I have a GT25 turbine housing. Cant remember if you said you had the stock turbo or not. It has elongated bolt holes on the mounting flange but it will do the job. I could even sand blast it for you if you'd like. That would save the work on the swing valve. PM me if you want it and we can talk about price and I can get some pics to you...

I have to tear mine apart anyways so I will just fix the one I have. Thanks anyways. I had a couple full throttle full boost runs today before it stopped boosting again :( felt good though.....:)
