Wiring Advice..

Whoever owned my beautiful car before me decided to, instead of buying a 10$ adapter for the wiring harness to the head unit, cut all the wires and resolder them himself. So now I'm trying to figure out what to do. Should I but an adapter from the crappy headunit he put in to a kenwood and just plug in a new headunit, or should i cut all of the crap he did and since it is soldered now anyways, resolder it to a new kenwood plug. Pictures included.. Thanks for the help!

Also, any idea what the wires still connected to the factory kenwood plug go to? There are 3 still connected...
