I thought there would be a few times that I would want a cargo cover. When we take day trips and make a purchase that I don't want in the open it would be handy. I made this cover out of vinyl, on sale. I made two sleeves using Goop glue. At the rear I slid in a large dowl that has a smaller dowl glued in the ends. The small dowl fits the slots that I believe the OEM cover uses. In the foward sleeve I have 3/4" PVC pipe with rubber end caps. Tension is provided by bungie cords attached to the rear seat seat belts. The pictures tell more. Under $30.
I only take it with me when I think we need it, otherwise it is at home. Folds or rolls easily for storage. You can always toss it in the 5 folded up just in case.
