Corksport Radiator Install

My radiator was leaking so I replaced it with a corksport, not taking into consideration the actual increase in size of the thing...I knew it was bigger but not that much!

Long story short, after fighting it into the engine bay, I realized that it was a lost cause to try to get the OEM fans installed. So I'm guessing that I'll need to install some SPAL slimlines or something, or get a stocker and just use that instead. Question I have, is what extra hardware would I need, specifically on the harness side, it'd be too much to hope for that they'd just plug right in...

Pics? I wanna see how much bigger the radiator is.

As for hooking up fans you could either splice into the stock wires or just cut the stock plug and rewire.

She's a biggie...

Here's a before and after...the real problem I think is that the turbo is mounting high in this configuration instead of lower down like on the MSP, so you can't get the fans in once the radiator is placed.

Mine is N/A and my Corksport Radiator fits pretty well. I can definatly see where your having issues though being turbo.

Serious lack of space. I had a rough time clearing my obx header with the bolts that hold the fan motor and heat shields. That's an impossible fit with the stock fans. If you could shift the radiator forward under the panel it might work but the radiator is massive, I don't see any other quick solution than the slim fans. But the big shiney corksport looks bad ass.

I can't shift it under the frame because the A/C unit is there...the radiator actually doesn't fit quite like I want it to due to some hack welding job on the passenger side on the A/C components. It'll work though, guess I'll just grab a pair of SPAL slimlines from somewhere.
