Funky rattle/knock after Injen CAI install - Fixed

So, after installing the CAI there was this funky rattle I could hear when letting the clutch out, kind of more like a little knock. It wasn't speed sensitive and would do it while park brake was on and just letting the clutch out a little. Finally found it...

On some CAI installs they have you relocate the headlight ballast, not on the Injen. Finally discovered that the wire connector on the ballast was hitting the intake tube due to the mount flex. It wasn't hitting it sitting at idle but under power the engine rotates back a little and it hits it. Short story, bend the wire connector on the ballast down a little bit...

How load was the rattle? Did you have to have windows down to hear it?

No, I could hear it with the windows up. It wasn't real loud and I could pretty much only hear it when backing up or in first gear. I assume it probably always rattled and just couldn't hear it for engine/road noise.
